Would You Like To Be
A Parent Volunteer?
Parents volunteering for certain activities are required to be fingerprinted.

Fingerprinting is done through MorphoTrak. Please read through the Morpho Track Fingerprinting Procedures.

There is a MorphoTrak location relatively close to Summit, in Parsippany, and the appointment only takes about 5 minutes.

Please click here for more information about the necessary paperwork that needs to be completed for fingerprinting.

A polite reminder - all paperwork: proof of $10 ePayment to the State of New Jersey, MorphoTrak form with attached receipt, and in case of emergency form must be returned to the Board Office.

The Board Office is located at: 14 Beekman Terrace. Approximately 2-3 weeks after you have been printed you will receive a letter from the State of New Jersey, Department of Criminal History Review. Please bring in a copy to Valerie Bampe in the Office Of Human Resources at the Board Office.

This letter must be on file at the Board Office.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact:

NetTrekker is a service that the schools have been using for years. Summit Schools recently upgraded its subscription to include BrainPop.

BrainPop is a different company but became available as an add-on to our NetTrekker subscription. BrainPop only allows student access from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

With the new subscription came new services. NetTrekker is available for home use 24/7.

Visit http://school.nettrekker.com to get more familiar with this award-winning product.

Please note when logging in at home all names and passwords are case sensitive.

Parent Volunteers to Drive
Please remember: each school year a new Volunteer Driver form needs to be completed and submitted to Ms. Mundy along with a copy of your current insurance declaration page and your driver's license.

Getting this done in the Fall will help with coordinating field trips throughout the year.

Combined Workshop & Regular Meeting at Summit High School

Please note re: Dismissal Policy
A written note from a parent/guardian is required if a child will be leaving school early (e.g. lunch, doctor's appointment, etc.)
A note is also required if a child will be dismissed to someone other than who is listed on his/her dismissal form.
A phone call to the office is not the procedure.

Please make after school pick up arrangements and play dates with your child (and/or other parents) prior to the start of the school day. Please discuss the after school plan with your child so that he/she are aware of what the plan is at dismissal. Classrooms will not be interrupted during school hours to advise a student that a play date has been coordinated or who will be picking up the child. If you need to add someone onto your child's dismissal form, please feel free to stop by the office and complete a form. Emails are not acceptable form of notes for dismissal. Even if you have notified the classroom teacher, notes should always be sent in, to the office, in writing.
